 PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER 

Ward graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware in 1991 and received his Juris Doctor in 1994 from the Widener University School of Law.  After Law school, Ward worked in the legal department of the AIG domestic life companies, as well as Provident Indemnity Life Insurance Company.  Ward has worked with ASRM and its sister company EXL since 1997 and has been ASRM’s President and Chief Operating Officer since 2006.     

 CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER 

 Helena began her career in Health and Welfare Benefit Administration at Towers Perrin (formerly known as TPF&C) in 1986.  In the 15 years spent at Towers, she had a number of positions including acting as the liaison between client and internal departments, in addition to managing several functional areas.  In this capacity, she was responsible for servicing many large corporations such as Ford Motor Company, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman.  In April of 2001 she joined Wachovia Insurance Services, formerly known as BRI Brokerage Firm, to manage their administrative operation.  After spending two years at Wachovia Insurance Services, Helena joined ASRM in June of 2003 and has been the Chief Administrative Officer since 2006. 

 VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 

 Mark has been the Chief Financial Officer of ASRM since 2011 and was ASRM Comptroller from 2004 to 2010.  Mark graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from LaSalle University in 1981.  After graduation, Mark held various financial and management roles with General Accident Assurance Company, Penn Mutual Insurance Company and the Life Insurance Company of North America (CIGNA).  In 1991, Mark took on the role of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Special Risk Management Corp, one of ASRM’s holding companies.  Mark continues to hold these titles today, in addition to his current role with ASRM. 

 VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 

Frank graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Information Technology and has been with ASRM since 2004 managing the Information Technology Department.  He has over 30 years of IT experience working for a number of large corporations including Colonial Penn and AON Consulting.  Frank’s technology experience spans a wide array of specialties related to the health insurance industry.  Frank and his team have developed fully customizable system and carrier integrations/reports, website waiver/enrollment capabilities, customer service support sites, and billing advancements.  

 VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SERVICES 

Myles graduated from Rider University with a B.A in History.  He has been with ASRM or its affiliates since 1999 and has managed the Account Management, Data Management and Premium Accounting/Fulfillment departments since 2006.  He is an actively licensed life and health agent.

Myles has experience in all functional areas of the company, including claims, customer service, accounting, compliance and account management.  He has been instrumental in onboarding employer and student clients and their health benefit programs, as well as managing broker and field sales relationships, establishing departmental processes, designing program/marketing materials, and creating departmental efficiencies.  

SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER 

Dave Leto has been a dedicated member of the ASRM team since 2006. Throughout his tenure, Dave has taken on critical responsibilities in the areas of network configurations, cybersecurity, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transfers. His expertise and contributions in these domains have been instrumental in ensuring the organization's smooth and secure operations. Dave's long-standing commitment to ASRM reflects his dedication to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the company's network and data systems.

 CLAIMS SUPERVISOR 

Lisa Pfeiffer is a supervisor in our Claims Department of professional claims staff responsible for the processing of medical, disability, and life insurance claims.  She also manages claims professionals responsible for reconciling carrier payments for our specialty network clients.  Lisa has been with ASRM for over 23 years and is familiar with all aspects of our business, but specializes in the handling of complex medical plans requiring a thorough understanding of all aspects of the health care and claim life-cycle.

 VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING 

   
Spencer Gaskill is a graduate of The College of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in finance. He began his professional journey with ASRM in 2014, and since then, he has taken on various roles within the organization. Spencer's career at ASRM has included positions in project management, claims supervision, data analytics, and involvement in marketing initiatives. His diverse experience across different functions underscores his versatility and valuable contributions to ASRM's operations and strategic efforts. 

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR 

Glenis Contreras began her career with ASRM in 2005 and has held multiple positions.  As a Customer Service Representative, Glenis established herself very early on as one who could easily address any customer service challenge through to positive results. As a result of her efforts, she received her first promotion to Claims Analyst shortly after joining the Company.  From 2008-2017, Glenis excelled in the Data Management department where she was instrumental in not only processing client data files for high-profile clients, she helped establish long term processes used by the department.  For the last several years, Glenis has supervised the Customer Service and Claim Verifying Departments; most importantly, she has mentored her employees and positioned each to grow in their roles and achieve success within ASRM.    

 ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR 

Kate Radziak has been with ASRM since 2006.    Kate has held several positions most of which have been in the Agent & Employer Services Department.  She has grown from her early start as an Account Support Specialist to the department’s supervisor.  Kate is meticulous in her attention to detail and has applied her attributes to her client relationships over the years earning her multiple accolades.  While Kate has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining key relationships with the broker and client community, she focuses her time on mentoring her team and positioning them to achieve the level of success ASRM expects.  

 PREMIUM ACCOUNTING & FULFILLMENT SUPERVISOR 

Christian Hensel graduated from Messiah University with a B.S. in Business Administration.  He started his career working in the underwriting and direct marketing departments of AIG.  In 2001, he joined ASRM’s sister company as a Compliance Analyst and specialized in all phases of policy drafting through to issuance.  Christian has used his unique ability for copyediting to help ASRM produce all forms of communication including marketing and fulfillment pieces.  Christian has been the supervisor of the Premium Accounting/Fulfillment Department since 2007 and has established processes that have helped his team meet high levels of quality assurance and accuracy as it accounts for all product annualized premium.
